Since 2004, Plain-O Helpers have seen a significant increase in the number of seniors helped. The need in Collin County is great. Without Plain-O Helpers, many of the people who’ve been helped would have had no other source for assistance. All work performed by Plain-O Helpers is generally done either on a Friday or, for more major projects, during the week as needed.
A Project is a visit during one day by Plain-O Helpers to address needs at a Client‘s place of residence. During that visit, volunteers may work on a number of tasks requested by the client. We may visit a client more than once per year.
